was so fricking wrong then why did the entire group of officials look at the replay and say it was not targeting?

Refs messed up. I hope the ASU coach explains what he was told.

No. I do not think that.

What part of lowering and forcible contact did you miss in those two rules?

I posted the rule. Do you see the word “lowering”? No. That’s not the rule.

How the frick are you going to launch into someone and hit them with the crown of your helmet without lowering your head? I can literally point out helmet to helmet incidental contact on defenseless players in nearly every play.

Here i will explain it to you really simple so you can understand. You have to lower your head to make forcible contact with the crown of your helmet.

You are wrong. Here is the rule:

Targeting Rule 9-1-4: No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder.

No, on a defenseless player there is no lowering or crown of the helmet requirement.

I bet you can’t. Even if you could, it’s only a foul if it’s forcible contact.

It still has to be forcible contact. It was incidental contact. Damn, you all are still on here crying about that? The targeting bs is bad enough to have to deal with , without listening to grown men cry about every little hit being called for targeting. It's people like you all that are destroying this sport.

It was a very hard hit as evidenced by how his body reacted to the hit.

Rules are rules.

I would be more in fear if Texas if we didn’t beat Texas twice.
