You don't wanna go to the SEC. NEB regrets leaving. Colorado is headed back to the Big 12. Texas, and for sure OU will regret leaving.

T. Boone Pickens has been a consistent donor for OSU even prior to his death so this isn't anything groundbreaking

Texas will not look back.
The quality of games every year is enough. The revenue bump from TV and ticket sales will create a significant gap with whoever #2 is. Not to mention all the Horns down royalties.
Not more tickets, just higher prices; Season tickets for ‘23 are already sold out.
