I should amend my post and say the SWAC is wanting in football.
Southern fields a competent baseball team and has defeated LSU at least twice, if not three times.
And it’s not a racial thing because blacks dominate major school rosters. It’s about funding for recruiting sports and academics. Just not on the same level or playing field.
