Mike Sherman would have had us between 5-7 wins AT BEST in the SEC.

My God how beautiful have Sumlin/Kingsbury/Snyder worked out this year? Could not ask for a better start (of course minus those 2 losses but whatever) when switching conferences and also switching coaches at the same time.

how did one of the worst teams in the B12 become a front runner in the SEC in a span of an off season? Either A&M squandered a ton of talent or the SEC is not ready for A&M's style of play.

Here are the following players we lost last season:

QB - Ryan Tannehill (#8 overall, 3 star QB)

HB - Cyrus Gray (4th round, 4 star RB)

WR - Jeff Fuller (UDFA, 4 star WR)

OL - Brian Thomas (transferred to Texas Tech, kicked off team, 3 star OL)

DL - Tony Jerod-Eddie (UDFA, 4 star DE)

DL - Eddie Brown (UDFA, 4 star DT)

CB - Coryell Judie (UDFA, 4 star CB)

CB - Lionel Smith (UDFA, 2 star CB)

CB - Terrence Frederick (7th round, 2 star CB)

S - Trent Hunter (not even UDFA, 3-star S)

K - Randy Bullock (5th round, 3 star K)

Add that to the juniors and seniors we had on the roster this year, and the answer is simple: piss poor and pathetic coaching.

The worst coach on the staff last season was also the worst coach on FRANCHIONE'S staff under the previous regime (Charles McMillan - DBs)

OU and OSU would have torn the Aggies a new one, and they likely would have found a way to lose to Texas.

A&M rose to the challenge, have to respect that. But the Big 12 wouldn't have been a cakewalk for them.
