Do we HAVE to keep coming back to your lack of reading comprehension skills again and again? Are you really that poor at reading, or are you just pulling my leg and typing non-sequitors to my posts to get your jollies?
The whole point of this exercise demonstrates that without a doubt, I am your superior, and you have a very short fuse which gets you WAY too worked up over an internet message board as to be bad for your health. Step AWAY from the keyboard.

Ben,
When you type slowly for me, make sure you address my question.
The big 12 has a whole left by 2 mediocre teams. They are replaced by 2 competitive (allegedly) teams. Somebody will have to move if the replacements are better.
For example, let's say this is the pecking order of the big 12 over the last 3 years. See David Uppen from ESPN
Three-year Big 12 record (Big 12 title games omitted)
1. Oklahoma State: 20-5
2. Oklahoma : 17-8
3. Missouri: 15-10
4. Kansas State: 14-11
4. Texas: 14-11
6. Texas A&M: 13-12
7. Baylor: 11-14
8. Texas Tech: 10-15
9. Iowa State: 9-16
10. Kansas: 2-23
Where does TCU or WVU fit in and who moves up/down?
1. Oklahoma State: 20-5
2. Oklahoma : 17-8
3. WVU????
4. Kansas State: 14-11
4. Texas: 14-11
6. TCU???
7. Baylor: 11-14
8. Texas Tech: 10-15
9. Iowa State: 9-16
10. Kansas: 2-23
If this is how it shakes out, how is that an "upgrade" or a "lateral move"?

I'd say move WVU below KS and UT, and it stacks up nicely. I think the wildcard in all this is how the drug stuff will impact TCU going forward. That could bump them to TT/ISU status pretty quickly and possibly below Kansas, depending on how Mr. Creosote does over there.
Likewise, I think TAMU and Mis slot into the middle of the pack in the SEC as well. I believe TAMU is closer to being competitive than Mis is.

So, Texas and KSU moved UP. They automatically got better because Missouri left. How are these upgrades and how is this a lateral move. The replacements went down.

Here's the quote lifted from my original post...
"That argument only has merit if you believe your premise, which I don't. WVU and TCU are making lateral moves into the Big 8. Misurah and eATMe are taking a HUGE step up. in competition."
In no way have I contradicted this at any time. When I say WV and TCU are making lateral moves, I'm saying that they are middlin' teams in their own conferences who will occasionally battle their Top Dawgs every few years - as both have done for the past decade. The TCU team that won the rose bowl would have competed for a title in the Big 8. Likewise, this year's TCU team would have gone to a bowl similar to the one they went to this year if it had played in the Big 8. When they get into the Big 8, expect that to continue to be the case. Their fate will not change. Lateral move. Ditto for WVU
And as for the second part of my post, TCU and WVU have a better shot at winning consistently sooner in the Big 8 than TAMU or Mis in the SEC.

If you really believe this, then I just don't know what else to say to you. Neither of those teams would have similar records and bowls if they had to play Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Kansas State & Mizzou/A&M instead of the teams they played in the Big East and the MWC. If you go back more than one season add Nebraska and Texas Tech (under Leach) to that list as well.

TCU will eventually become a middle of the road team in the Big 12. They sucked in the SWC and they will be nothing special in the Big 12.
So, what you're saying is that TCU will become another A&M?

Lets parse your nonsense Ben.
You do realize that they are both "TOP" teams consistently in the Big East and MWC respectively, right?
SO WVU is a middling Big 12 team thats going to a BCS bowl?
Is there really a need to go on?
