Aww come on, state posts a losing record or 6-6 you win atate posts a winning record I win? If you're that confident in 2 and barbeque what's the big deal?

I'm talking about baseball and I don't make stupid internet bets.

I find it amusing how fast fans of both sides of this rivalry forget how hard it is to win this game on the road.
I find it amusing how easy Ole MIss fans forget we've won 4 out of the last 5 Egg Bowls, yet keep predicting wins every year.

You're such a shitty troll.

Fair enough
We can make it about baseball, but I don 't see why you think it's that stupid. If you're that confident it should be easy pickens. Or are you not confident in your statement?

How? Because I think State wins in Oxford based on the fact that we beat y'all with a freshmen QB last year who started 1 game? Predicting a win after winning 4/5 isn't that big of a stretch, especially having Dak if he stays healthy.

I wouldn't be extremely surprised if they managed to go 9-3. If they don't make noise next year, I will lose faith in State until they prove otherwise

You beat us after we played our worst game of the year and lost a key part of our offensive line. Not to mention a lucky fumble.
Don't even act like that wasn't pure luck.

By the time november rolled around I thought state would win last year fwiw
And state hasn't beaten a competitive ole miss team in Oxford since 1998.
Ole miss hasn't beaten a competitive state team in Starkville since 1997.
Beating Houston nut's 4-8 squad by 1 td in Oxford with dan mullen's best team (9-4) has no bearing on the outcome of the egg bowl this season, sorry.
What happened last time the egg bowl was played in Oxford?

How?
Because it's three home wins and an away win against a 2-10 team?

I think this is the mentality of most unbiased fans on this board. 8-4 is likely, however, 9-3 won't be much of a shock to most people. If we don't win atleast 8, I'll be severely disappointed and hope that Stricklin reevaluates Mullen. What's sickening is that if we go 7-5, older fans will think its a successful season and praise Mullen for taking us to a 5 straight bowl game which will longer prolong everyones perception of Mullen's true ability to coach

this is all true. However, it doesn't change the fact that I personally believe we will have the better team next year. I know the better team doesn't always win, but damn does it sure help.
