Was Franks pitching bombs all game, no. Zero reason to not pressure Trask that 4th quarter, zero. That was my point. Leaving guys to zone and giving Trask time to dial in does dick to help the rookie DBs, which is what Stoops was trying to do. Bringing pressure does present a risk if they get off a bomb, but we saw we were getting picked apart and did absolutely nothing to rectify it.

This may be true, but we’ve seen coaches win at a lower level and be average at a major program before. I know you want to excuse your loss, but regardless you had way more talent and should have won. Moorehead just ain’t it.

Spot on your defensive scheme against Trask lost the game, Trask has never really been hit and you guys didn’t even try to get to him.
