Yes a tradition we rarely get anymore, except against crappy OOC teams.

I wouldn't expect Auburn fans to be bitching right now. You suck, so it doesn't matter who you play.

In the meantime, we are all part of another bridge schedule - so the faster folks learn to DWI the better.

That's so nice to see Bama fans all on board with no complaints for the bridge schedules. I wonder why that is....hmmmmm...

The real problem is LSU is blinded by alabama. if you dont see it, I just dont know what to tell ya.

No, I only have a problem with this recent bullshite of Bama's schedule mysteriously skipping quality teams in the East rotation.

Other than that, with 14 teams, you can't keep doing the same thing. It will take so long to rotate all the teams that you'll forget a team in in the same conference by the time you play them. Hence the reason it needs to change, and don't see how to do it without doing away with permanent cross divisional games. Other than that, I don't give a shite about Bama/UT. To be fair, Bama had to play them when UT was good. Not Bama's fault UT sucks now.

What would have happened if Georgia had played Alabama as the original rotational schedule called for?

Spurrier woulda lost to Bama in the SEC CG.

You don't see UF fans complaining about it either, specifically playing LSU annually.

Or Tenn fans. And they've had to play a dynasty the last few yrs in as their permanent opponent.

LSU should've taken care of business against us like we did against them and TAMU.

You mean the way Alabama keeps taking care of business against Tennessee, or how Georgia keeps taking care of business against Auburn.

Guess what, Alabama didn't take care of business against TAM last year, but thanks to their weak arse non-divisional schedule, they didn't have to.

Furthermore, Georgia didn't take care of business against South Caroline last year, but thanks to their weak arse non-divisional schedule, they didn't have to.

But you just don't get it; do you?

Those teams had great playoff battles in the 80s but I certainly wouldn't call it a bitter hate filled rivalry.

Where have you been the last decade? Ya know, when the Celtics and Lakers have met in the Finals 3 different times.

It is one of the most bitter hate filled rivalries in sports. Do you know any real Laker or Celtics fans?

eta and I wouldn't call TSIO a bitter hate filled rivalry. And I'm born and raised in Tennessee and have witnessed it first hand.

Thank you.

UTk fans, thoughts?

I think it's accurate for the last few seasons to say GA, Florida, and SC are on top and give nothing but props to Spurrier for managing to do something with USC. All of those teams won it on the field with tough schedules and have bragging rights.

However, I'd also point out that as sucky as we were under Dooley: 1. he basically beat LSU (the 13th man on the field wasn't a factor but proved to be a godsend for LSU and a sign of things to come under Dooley) and 2. both UGA and USC last year were games that turned on a dime and could've been won by UT. Again this all despite having the worst coach in UT's history, a team so erratic it should've gotten a psychiatric diagnosis, a complete unraveling as seasons wore on, and so many unprecedented levels/records for pitiful broken that I've lost count.

UT will be back, although NOT as soon as I want. And I think USC has finally moved out of the gutter long enough to be a solid team in the East for many years to come.

BTW, UTK isn't an insult or jab to anyone who has actually attended the university.

I really hope he was joking or being sarcastic.

Why would I be joking? It's a nationally known rivalry and very well known that the fan bases hate each other. Are you a Lakers fan? A Celtics fan? Do you even follow the NBA in the slightest?

No one outside of the SEC gives a damn about TSIO. Or UF/UGA. Or any other rivalry in the SEC for that matter. Hell, most probably think LSU/Bama is the main rivalry given the last few match-ups.

Yall had Kentucky, Tenn and Florida in 2011, while Bama had Vandy, Tenn and Florida. Pretty much identical schedules. Result was still a Bama NC.

Ok cool, but I wasn't talking about 2011. do you NOT know what's going on or are you trying to skirt the issue?
