My best friend lives in Charleston. It’s about as full of leftists and liberal Yankee transplants as Austin, TX. His ex wife is a professor at College of Charleston. Hillary loving graduate of Wellesley, Duke and Harvard.

So much misinformation in this thread. As far as the state fanbase goes it is 65/35 USC. South Carolina is the state school located in the capital in the middle of the state. Clemson is in the NW corner of the state and absolutely no reason to go there unless you are going to Clemson. Clemson was founded to destroy the university of South Carolina under John C Calhoun and Ben pitchfork Tillman, also two absolutely murdering racist. The fact that Clemson still has Tillman Hall and gets black athletes to play for them is absolutely incredible.
Clemson fans wear the ugly orange all the time when they are winning. When they are not you can't find it anywhere. They are cult that is insufferable when winning and nowhere to be found when they are not. USC fans wear the gear year around no matter what. It looks good, garnet and black with that sweet logo looks good anytime and anywhere. The orange is not something you pop on for no reason, it makes you look like a moron.
