AR natives are a little restless over recruiting right now. They like Petrino which they should but expecting a bigger haul with a second year coach. Some will talk about taking need over stars,

A lot of personal friends a little confused why they haven't got any big fish yet. They liked last year's RBs and DBs but they know it takes multiple years of good classes to build a program they think is possible. We'll see.

Good job! You took one player out of our state that we wanted! If taking one player out of Arkansas is a big deal to y'all, that's a little sad IMO. Congrats on taking ONE player out of Arkansas, but to go and claim the state "Aubbie Land" is just stupid.

But the thing that makes your argument lose is that it is THE best recruit from Arkansas and that Arkansas doesn't traditionally produce many D1 recruits.

Arkansas's staff has missed on a lot of recruits this year. That may be part of the reason there have been changes with the coaching staff. The guys hired are better recruiters overall.
RE: Dyer, I think they truly wanted Dyer early but when he demanded his buddy get a scholly too the interest faded quite a bit.

There's not much Arkansas could have done with a kid like Dyer. He was butthurt that we didn't offer his buddy, Moseley. if anyone knows the slippery slope of offering teammates just to get the star of a team, it's Arkansas. Wasn't going to happen.
And let's not even get into the fatfrick walt williams. That dude is a NCAA violation just waiting to happen.
