I agree that it is sad, but nobody ever gets declared ineligible for just asking for something. Kids all over the country would be ineligible everyday. Schools probably wouldn't even have enough guys to field a complete football team. I don't even understand why they make that rule if they're not going to enforce it. Just do away with that rule. It's not hard.

Player/parent: "Hey Auburn, can I get $100,000?

AU: "No."

Player/parent: "What about a car or a new house?"

AU: "No and no."

I think you should change the "AU" to "MSU". 'Cause let's face it, it would be a whole different story if Cam's family solicited money from AU, and they still ended up recruiting him. Gotta admit that would look pretty bad.

Of course MSU DID keep recruiting Cam after the violation. And if Kenny Rogers is to be believed, the violation occurred in front of two of their coaches. And yet they waited until after Cam signed with AU to report it (in fact, it appears that they waited at least until July to mention the coaches' involvement - perhaps even longer).

I'm beginning to think that MSU isn't exactly co-operating fully with the NCAA.

Good thing i don't watch football to see who gets caught cheating. Like I said, that was my opinion which doesn't count for shite.
The on the field performance by AU does. It has been great to watch. Just not against LSU, you suck.
