I don't support gays. Their actions don't affect my life so why should I try to restrict theirs? Sorry, I am Catholic, not a fundamentalist Christian.

Actually, I was hoping we would just kick Arkansas out to make room for Mizzou, A&M, and really, anyone. Heck, I'd take U la la over the piggies anyday. It's not that I hate Arky, it's just that Arky isn't even relevant enough to be worthy of my contempt.

Most Catholics in the United States affiliate themselves with the Democratic Party.

The Catholic Church is the one and true Church, but we have always seemed to be more progressive than Protestants. Vast majority of Catholic women use birth control. Catholics are more tolerant and typically do not have the "its my way and if you don't believe it, you will rot in hell" approach to things. Maybe its different in the deep south.

Anyone who seriously believes that Barack Obama is the best choice for president in 2012 must either be ignorant of reality, woefully misinformed, greedy for government handouts, or just wants to see the world burn. I am no fan of Mitt Romney, but if you would like me to tell you why Barack Obama is such a poor choice, I will do so as logically as I can without resulting to unnecessary hyperbole.

He has simply increased the size of government larger than it has ever been, increased the power of the office of the president far beyond any precedent, he went back on campaign promises to roll back spending and close Guantanamo Bay, he helped push through Congress an unconstitutional healthcare bill which (when combined with an expiration of the Bush Tax Cuts) will raise the Capital Gains tax from 15% to 43%, will let the death tax revert to a top rate of 55%, took one time increases in government spending (the stimulus and bailouts) and used those as the new base levels to fund government agencies, has encouraged legislating through regulatory agencies, used regulatory agencies to shut down everything from coal mining in Kentucky, to gulf oil drilling, to nuclear energy plants, gave stimulus funds to companies owned by campaign contributors that embezzled the funds under the guise of "green jobs", his attorney general oversaw a program that funneled untraceable guns to Mexican Cartels resulting in the deaths of a U.S. border patrol agent and an FBI agent, Obama ordered the targeted assassination of an American citizen without due process using a predator drone, he signed into law an act allowing for the detainment of American citizens without due process on American soil at any time, he signed an executive order restricting free speach in areas where an "important political figure" happens to be speaking or residing, and the list goes on and on.
