Saban is smarter than those two. Look how he just totally shook up his staff and only after a minor set back. He will coach 5 more years tops.

I expect him to stick around as long as he wants to and continue to compete for the NC at a very high level.
I do think that if he ever hits the point where he can't do that, he will quit.
I don't see him hanging around like Paterno or Bowden, because I don't think he identifies himself as the personification of bammer the way they did with PSU and FSU.
It would be cool if, after he retires, a Paterno-scale scandal about bammer under his watch comes out.

Alabama wouldn't have deserved a spot last season, but we only know that in retrospect. Last year's playoff should have featured Florida State, Auburn, Michigan State, and Stanford.

A rational bammer fan!

Anybody who laughs at saban winning another title or multiple ones has nothing to go on. They would have laughed if you would have said he would win 3 out of 4 after 2007 and you're essentially basing the future off of 2 games. Just kind of dumb that some think it would be remarkable.

did you not read where I said in the next 5 years he wins atleast 1 more title at bama. However, shite happens NCAA probes and violations, new coaches come into a conference and revitalize teams, etc. Plus he won't have one of the best qb's in CFB history in AJM anymore.
