Maybe everyone involved finally thought about the players. Hopefully that’s the case.

My guess? Admin accepted that Lane was gone & realized it would be senseless to jeopardize hosting a playoff game over the potential of roster attrition — which is guaranteed in context of any coaching transition.
Talking shite has been fun, but I am sincerely a bit relieved for you all.
