So what? You can't leave a team out based on what previous editions have done, especially of there is literally not any other choice. If Utah won their conference they would 100% have gone. It's the same with nktre Dame, everyone knows they're going to lose in the first round but if they go 12-0 you simply can't leave them out. It invalidates the entire system.

If Oklahoma lost 34-31 in overtime would people still feel this way? Of course they wouldn't, which enforces my point that people are just mad that lsu is so much better than everyone else. They're going to kill Clemson too.

Its posts like this I'm so fricking sick of. You don't know what the frick you're talking about, stop living in the AP voting era. Its supposed to be the four best teams, fricking period. All schedules aren't equal, and standings aren't rankings.

If Oklahoma played Auburn's schedule they would have 3 or 4 losses easily, and wouldn't be anywhere near the top four. The committee admitted they still almost put Georgia in with the blowout loss to LSU.

Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Alabama, and probably Oregon are all better than Oklahoma. So what, you penalize teams for playing a tougher schedule? Thats not how this is supposed to work. If team a plays 5 top 5 teams, and wins three out of five of those games, and team B plays no top 5 teams, and wins several games close versus non-ranked teams, the committee has to be able to break down reality and do the right thing. 247 has a breakdown of team talent. The big 12 had no business in the playoffs this year, none.

What invalidates the entire system is not picking the four best teams and quit whining about this deserving bullshite and teams with the best records.

ALL SCHEDULES ARE NOT EQUAL.

And here I thought you were a nice Alabama fan.

I’m not doing any moral victories here.

Oklahoma lead at halftime against Clemson in 2015 and Georgia in 2017. They had their chance to close it out in the second half but failed.

Oklahoma earns the right to fail miserably in the CFP. Other teams should step up. It sucks to lose like they do but oh well.
