I will never understand why people praise Miles for winning a NC and yet hate on Richt for not winning one. Richt had a 1 loss SEC champion and just got unlucky that 2 other teams went undefeated. Miles won a NC with a 2 loss team and has never finished with less than 2 losses. Miles somehow losing 2 games in '06 was a complete debacle with the loaded team he had.

when he was in the NFL Haslett said "in college, if you have better players, you usually win" Seems to be holding true.

He was the first, and then he coached the second (Wuerffel) as well.
I think Spurrier still wishes he was at Florida sometimes, considering he told Urban after the game to win the next four. BUT I think he also likes less pressure at South Carolina. Gator fans are as bad as LSU when we lose. (As in, we overreact. I say that with love, because I do it too.)

I hope he retires this season.
With that said,nothing agains South Carolina,but I was glad to see Spurrier's smug arse get destroyed on National TV. He used to think it was so funny back in the 90's. "Well,they have a defense,too.Let them stop the Gators."

Now,that's stupid even for you. "Complete debacle". Yep, 11-2 and #3 is just awful.
