The truth is all of the players from OSU who are in the portal have been passed on the depth chart by younger players. They are still very good players but probably won't see much playing time. From what I've read Fleming transferred out because if Jeremiah Smith enrolls he will probably start, he is that good. Kyle McCord is a good QB, but not elite. His father wanted a guarantee from Day that he would be the starter next year. Day said no and he would have to earn it like the rest. McCord's father then told his son to hit the portal.... This is just a case of parental interference and I commend Day as that took courage....
