Tennessee's defense is a lot better than the statistics show. We could have played Memphis instead of Oregon, and we'd be national top 15 in total Defense right now.

I believe we're third in the league, if you only account for SEC games.

Once Tennessee plays more road games, the defensive stats will likely drop quickly.

31 points allowed to UF (and almost 400 yards) in the only SEC road game doesn't make me a believer in the UT D outside of Rocky Top.

UT is not good, one win and their nutjubs are coming out of the woodwork to tell me about USC and UT are gonna buttrape my Missouri Tigers. How about we just let this one play out, I'm expecting 8-1 after these next two games btw

I mean I bet 21, at least, of their points were scored by defense and ST.

Hmmm interesting that didn't happen against Mizzou. We had 500 yards on that vaunted defense

I'm not sure how I feel about you defending UF.

Actually, I've never said that. I've been very pro-Mizzou all season. This will be my last response to you, I'm above you.

If that's true, UF's offense shouldn't of been on the field enough to get almost 400 yards

Mizzou...get wins over FCS and dilapidated teams that are injury struck and their nutjobs come out of the woodwork and talk about how they are going to buttrape other teams.

We had 6 turnovers. It was the worst football game ever played on national TV.

You say UT's lousy defense...UT is one of the teams I think Mizzou will have problems with. Something about that team. I hope I'm wrong

I agree. People are going off that Oregon game but for some reason I feel Tennessee is a lot better than people think. Sucks that you have mighty Bama coming up so now people will talk more smack. Mizzou better not judge UT by the Bama game if Bama wins big.

This is reality, spurrier has done wonders for our program, but we are still capable of losing to anyone and i mean ANYONE on any given sunday. We have a habit of absolutely not showing up at least once a year. During these games we generally look poorly coached and directionless.
I know tennessee wants to look at last weekend as them announcing they are "back", but i would pump my brakes if i were you...they beat us and they deserved the win. We did not. But honestly, there are a ton of teams that would have beat us last saturday.

If they played this weekend i would pick mizzou to win by 21.
