So...is the quarterback's business to throw for yardage and score touchdowns...or to win football games? So far, MSU's record with Dak starting is 23-10 - (70% winning percentage) Manning's record as a starter was 38-6 - (86% winning percentage) If you've got the game won...you don't need to keep throwing the football. That's common sense to me. Can you accept that principle?
Yes, it is the quarterbacks BUSINESS to throw, run, or recieve touchdowns and win games whenever he is on the field. Also, to rack up as many yards and td's as possible. If thats not the case, then why are we even having this discussion and why do we even keep up with stats. Also, this day in age we put a lot of emphasis on scoring as many points in a game as possible because the CFP committee is looking for style points(the EYE test) as much as wins. Finally, the bottom line is that they are and were both great college qb's and if Dak passes him in total yards and touchdowns then I believe he must be as good or better than Peyton and I can't really say I give a shite what you think and probably like wise for you not giving a shite what I think. Watch the game and drink a beer man!
