I don't agree with an LSU fan that often but you are correct sir. At times the Big 12 was a decent conference.
Too bad one of the schools had an AD with a superiority complex screwed it up.
For that matter back in the day, the SWC was a pretty good league.
However, that is all history.
Of course there was some great TV with Augie Garrido and his cooking show. Who could forget this great quote ......“Rubbing pork butts is not a good thing.”
If John Macovic (sp?) had not been fired, I am positive the wine expert would have had the best wine tasting show on television.
The big loser is ESPN who is still shelling out huge bucks to texas university.

$300 million is over the entirety of the deal.
$165 million remains.

I know that. They were two separate statements.

Can you imagine the look on the Disney Corporate Finance Team's faces every time they have to wire out the annual payments. I remember the losses on the deal being estimated at nearly $50 million back in 2015. They have probably gotten incrementally worse each year since that initial estimate.
Kudos to the Longhorns for swindling dumb media execs.

Auburn has a better shot at 10 than poor Aggie.
