I think they are probably better than us and they've definitely proved more than we have but do you really think they'll jump that much in one week?

True, since they are unranked, they might as well have been Memphis.
Duh. They were 4th I think in receiving votes so just outside of the top 25. Besides...has very little to do with this: The only team of the 5 that lost ranked above AU ranked high enough and having played good enough competition not to fall below AU is the U. FSU, VT, GT, and Penn State all fall below AU moving AU up 4 spots to 17, but South Carolina jumps AU, placing AU at 18. If Penn State hadn't been thoroughly dominated, they would have stayed above AU. Wasn't even close though.FSU got skull f***ed, Tech was beat by an FBS team, and GT was beat by Turner Gill

Find me one AU fan that feels like AU is right on par with Bama. I'm not talking about quotes from last week...I'm talking about last night/today after seeing Bama play a ranked opponent. I realize it's just one game but Bama seriously looks a good bit better than last year. I think the only question is how they respond to a real passing attack.
Penn State lacked the ability to challenge the secondary so I am curious to see how those guys handle it. I suspect that they will be fine though...that front 7 has a lot to do with slowing down a passing attack and they looked lights out. Also, has very little to do with the fact that Alabama moved the ball at will.
