Talks about his issues at Auburn and Louisville. As well as the arrest that occurred on the way to his suicide attempt in Murray, KY. Pretty wild stuff.
Really good read about his road to redemption, what he went through, and what he's doing now.

He took a deep breath and shut his eyes. Then his phone rang. He didn’t recognize the number but answered it anyway. The voice on the other end needed a score, but Pike hung up. It was then that he decided he didn’t want his parents to find him on his patio with his head blown off. Instead, he’d drive his gray Ford F-150 to the backwoods of Murray—where he and a few friends used to shoot guns—and end his life there. It could take days for anyone to find him so deep in the woods, which is what Pike wanted.

If you read further, he was doing coke on top of all that shite too. And lord knows what else.

Terrible writer then.

What he's been through?
The kid was a gigantic douche who brought everything that happened on himself and threw away opportunities multiple times that most of could only dream of.
I'm glad he's turned himself around. I really am. I hope he stays on that path. But as somebody who's walked a similar path (minus the athletic stardom), you won't ever catch me whining about how hard life is because of shite that I did to my own self.
He's still a self absorbed douche that wants attention, he's just a sober one now

Wow, it makes you wonder how any of these kids make it through. Glad to see he has turned his life around. Thanks for sharing.

Don't tell him that. He's still pissed at his mom for buying wheat bread again.

His mom got the white bread this week and cut off the crust for him.

He founded the ministry in October, just a month after he left prison. The name represents new beginnings.
It seems Zeke has a problem coping with pressure. I wouldn't think it to be a good idea that in the span of a year he is suicidal, spends five months in jail and now wants to lead/teach others.
He might should spend a little more time getting grounded in adult life before taking this on. But I sense his father wouldn't like his name being out of the spotlight.

I agree and congratulate you on your turn around.
Maybe putting the focus on others rather than himself will keep Zeke on the right path. Good luck to him.

Bruh I'm a man. My mom doesn't do that for me.
She doesn't have to because I eat Smuckers Uncrustables

Sandwiches have to be cut diagonally or else life is too hard again.

That's true. It looks unprofessional otherwise

Whether it's self-inflicted or not (I'd argue addiction is much more than but I'm gonna digress) the kid is at least attempting to turn it around. And given that he was depressed enough to serously consider suicide, he's likely dealing with more than just addiction from a mental standpoint.
I'd love to have him come and talk to the kids at our HS. Especially since we had a player that committed suicide last year and it was very much out of the blue.

So he didn't play at AU because he got a PI? There has to be more to it than that.
