I was a big fan of Will Clark. What MLB records does he hold? 15 years is a relatively short time to play in MLB, especially for a HOF player. It's just not enough time to put up the requisite numbers. To be a shoo in you just about have to have 3,000 hits, or 500 HRs. He was a great combination of power and BA, though, and was a top hitter when he played. He just didn't play enough years.

Again. I was a huge Will Clark fan. I thought he was a great example of power and Batting average. He was as steady as they come until injuries took their toll. I bought up as many of his rookie baseball cards as I could.
But I can assure you, I know enough about baseball to know he simply could not play enough years to put in the numbers. I wish he had. He had a sweet swing and was fun to watch.
