Some money is kicked backed to it from the UA System, as refereced in the article I linked around page 6 of this thread. While UA Athletics don't fund UAB sports in anyway, UAB's athletic program is dependent on student fees, money from the UA System, etc. to try and stay afloat.

From the article that you referenced, there is no mention of the UA System other than how they prevented UAB from hiring Jimbo Fisher as the head coach for football. Please show me and others where the UA System has contributed financially to UAB Athletics.

Again, where is the proof of financial support from the UA System? It doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to find the article if it exists, so how about you giving it a try.
