We will restore the order with our mulligan in Miami.

Assuming he stays 5 more years it's possible, but not probable he wins another conference championship. No way to know, I don't have a ouija board, but I stand by that.
Okay. Fair enough.

Honest question. Do you think LSU has enough "shine" to pull it off? UA, ND, UT, tOSU...would LSU have enough to get in there if the roles were reversed last year?

LSU finished the bowl season ranked #2 in the nation.
LSU beat Bama at Bama and then went on to win the SEC championship.
no hot seat, certainly not based on one game against a stalwart opponent.
LSU, Bama and Ark all face the same problem. There are two other really good teams in the SEC west. Dont count on Bama winning those games.
How will YOU feel if you are already a one loss team (to Ark, on the road, say 28-27) going into Baton Rouge vs an undefeated LSU team?
10-2. sure. Bama's record.

if bama won would you start better fricking threads?

Not sure what you mean but it sound like an interesting question. Can you elaborate? Sorry about being a little dense.

Surely.

I probably didn't frame the question very well.
What I was asking was if last year was reversed, meaning UA won 9-6 in Nov. and all the teams that lost like OSU still lost...would LSU have gotten the rematch? Is the LSU brand enough to get one?
Posted on 4/1/12 at 2:35 pm to NBamaAlum
Without a doubt. Everyone said even before the game with the strength of LSU's schedule we would have gotten in.

Miles has beaten Satan the last 2 out of 3 games. No more Mulligans

Reverse everything. LSU has UA SOS. Basically what I am saying is switch the jerseys. Does LSU get in with UA's resume?
Posted on 4/1/12 at 2:38 pm to NBamaAlum
No intended disrespect but LSU does not have the clout that Bama has nationally to get the rematch.
Posted on 4/1/12 at 2:40 pm to NBamaAlum
Only hardheads bite on that shite.

LSU had a much stronger SOS and the loss wouldn't have been as bad as losing on your home turf. I think they would have easily gotten the mulligan game.

also, i wouldnt want to be a bama fan in BR or NOLA if bama wins.
I will be in BR for that shite

One more time. Switch everything. If LSU had UA's season (home loss 9-6 and schedule), would they have gotten in?

Gotcha. Yes, the name since Saban/Miles success is pretty good plus regular season accomplishments would have sufficed. Fortunately it didn't come to that. Bama had slightly better club due to QB play and CLM was fortunate 11/5/11 (he has more good fortune than bad...a fact forgotten on TigerRant site oddly enough). I think the bowl game would have been closer due to Tigers being slightly more motivated and Bama slightly less so..but I think Tide would have won both in that scenario.

Oops, now I get it (3rd time is a charm). If LSU's big OOC win was PSU....I don't know. That's a tough question. I really don't know. OSU had loss to ISU but LSU could only point to Arky win...tough one.

If I had to bet....I would say no.
