re: Shane Beamer is kind of a tool and completely in the wrong in his spat with Bert

The only one that called it Bush leage was Fat Bert. Nobody else did until after the game. Not the announcers (radio or TV), the refs, nor the fans in the game thread. It wasn't until Bert cried about it in his post game presser did that narrative pick up Steam.
so do you or don't you believe that legal bush league plays exist in sports. If so, please provide an example. Because based on how you're arguing this particular play, I don't think you do. Or maybe you don't here because your team/coach was accused of running a bush league play.

I didn't say that. My point is just because fat Bert called it bush league doesn't mean it is.
Is running up the score against an inferior opponent bush league? Why or why not?

In reality, these two statements defeat your argument. The rule book exists for two reasons. Fair play, and player safety. It's a logical assumption that something is not in the rule book then it's sportsman like and doesn't endanger player safety
Wrong. It could be that the rules committee has never considered a certain scenario, and will update the rules accordingly. Or not, and players will adjust their behavior to take the new scenario into account.
You are free to believe that this was a great play. Myself and 99% of other fans recognize it was chickenshit.

Then how do you explain the Minnesota vs Iowa game last year or Beamer SPECIFICALLY asking the refs about it this game? As i said before, the rule I posted, the one you asked for, obviously gives the refs latitude to call things not in the rulebook. They didn't call anything in the game.
And the fact you're having to use profanity in your post shows you're losing ground in the argument.
You didn't like it. That's OK. That doesn't raise it to the level of unsportsmanlike.
Ever heard the old phrase "Trick-er-ation"? That's all this was.

It wasn’t cool by Beamer, then he gaslit everyone into making the “taunting” a justification for how he acted. Look SC fans have to stand up for Beamer, but we don’t have to. And you guys seem to be in the minority still trying to flip this on Bert.

The only "Bush league" play called out in the game was Bert running subs in late.

I'll ask it again. Is running up the score against an inferior opponent a bush league move? There's nothing in the rules against it.

Bert put a clown suit on Beamer throughout this whole ordeal
Bert might be a creepy (former?) drunk but he's an Ed Orgeron class bruiser. No insult intended to Beamer, but Bert would have turned him into a greasy stain on the field.
As is Bert got Beamer upset and rattled, which is the last thing you want when playing a team like Illinois. They are far from great and barely make it to good, but they do what they do fairly well.
To add insult to injury Bert clowned Beamer in the post game presser. He explained his case well. Wasn't upset. Bert, God help us all, looked professional. Beamer did himself and his program no favors.

I just wish they had let Beamer go so Bert could whip his scrawny arse.
Thank goodness the coaches were there to hold the bipolar chihuahua back! It could’ve been ugly.

It took 6 to 9 guys to restrain him.

The Rant has conveniently ignored this question all day...
