Pulling hard for LSU.
1. I super don't want Clemson to win, and nothing below this item weights much compared to that.
However
2. Coach O's unlikely rise is one of the greatest college football stories I've ever witnessed. I laughed like everybody else, this big meathead and his binder and his gumbo. And the sunnuvabi**c did it. He's a game away from REALLY doing it. I dunno how anyone doesn't feel a little romantic about that.
3. Bama got Saban, not from LSU per se, but close enough. And then took the Natty from them in a year when LSU beat Bama in Tuscaloosa. And for good measure, beat them 8 times in a row. I mean... come on. I dunno how we could sleep at night pulling against them in the first title shot they get after all of that. Not trying to be all "throw them a bone," but ... this is a very reasonable penance for all that's come before it.
