Make football be football again. They are getting paid. Its a rough sport people get hurt. Quit pussifying the sport. You knock a player out the backup get an opportunity

For anyone looking to learn, here's a film breakdown of last year's Texas vs Oklahoma game.

I love this guy. He makes x and o super easy to understand for the layman that wants to actually learn but doesn’t know how to go about it.

What's a flood play and a wheel route?
I don't know what a flood play is but a wheel route?
Come on, man. It's been called that since AT LEAST the eighties. I would also accept "flare".

Because of my lack to access to games/commentary, I don't know a lot of football terms. What's a flood play and a wheel route?
You have no access to game commentary? You're not looking in the right place.
Watch your favorite teams podcasts from so many x-coaches / players / "so called experts" that will break down plays from the game.
Literally thousands of podcasts that break down plays and explain them in simple direct terms.
If you seriously want to become more knowledgeable about plays and what each playes assignment is on that particular play you can find it if you try.
It can be informative to know why a play looks like it didn't work due to one of 11 players doesn't execute his assighment on that 1 particular play
Sometimes a coach can call the perfect play but 1 player doesn't know his assignment against a stunt or unfamiliar (to him) set. The play seems like a poor choice but in reality, 1 player is lost on what is assignmet is for that play.
It's why coaching matters. Talent trumps everything if everyone knows their assignment most of the time. I hope you find the info you need to become more intelectually informed on the complexities of the game.
It can be fun. It can also be exacerbating watching a playback and realizing if only 1 guy didn't fuk up his assignment.
OK - Good luck - but enjoy the "game within the game" as some refer to it.
Also think how hard it must be to design a great play against a great scheme, call it in only several seconds, hope each player knows their assignment.
This goes for defensive plays and offensive plays/schemes.
Talent can make up for poor coaching sometimes....as good coaching can overcome talent disparity sometimes.
Best players with best coaching is great until your team doesn't show up reagy to fight. Damn...i got up too early......

My life is very, very complicated. I don't have free-range access to the Internet.
