Sure, but That’s beside the point. The vols did worse against SEC
Then why did you erroneously stress the stats were from OOC? Do you wish to change your stance on this a bit more? Take some time to collect other posters thoughts and get them straight? I don’t mind not doing this until you figure out where you want the goalposts.

Ergo the drive stalled and Kirby settled for a FG.
The answer was D:
- Uga didn’t have a 4th down to use.
What gets credit for that key piece of analysis?
The answer is The uga offense:
- because it killed too much clock.

You've made your point. Obviously, 99% of those who watched the game agree with you. He's trolling at best. He's dumber than dirt at worst.
It's like trying to tell a Big Foot truther that the thing doesn't exist. If getting him to admit he's wrong is the quest, you'll never find what you're looking for.
Your point is indisputable. But he can still believe in pink elephants if he wants.

Then the lack of faith in by Kirby gets the blame on why they settled for a FG. You understand how that works right? If he believes they can punch it in then they attempt it. No reason not to. If he feels they can’t then you settle for a field goal. Kirby made the safe call based on a lack of faith in the O. The O was given a couple of shots, was denied and the drive stalled out, Kirby rather than miss getting nothing goes for the FG.
Again I’ve led you to the water, it’s up to you to drink it.

Ok, so this is definitely a troll.
If Milton has his accuracy down. He's the best QB in college.
I'm sure UGA has another 7 year, no degree system QB who can fill in.

Tennessee still has some defensive issues.
Milton and WR group will stall have the abilty to leave DBs 10 yeards behind watching an orange jersey run into the endzone.
Talent level is MUCH improved. People forget Heupel won last year with a ragged collection of three stars, walk-ons, and rejects from other schools.
National championship? Probably not. Contend for the SEC Championship? Yes.

Still dodging the question.
You can't claim UGA is terrible, with a pedestrian offense, and then not back it up. You can't have it both ways.
So, quit being a pussy and tell me. What's your score prediction for the UGA-Tenn game??

Why didn’t we have 2 downs?

The disparity proves the vols stats were skewed by OOC games.
Let’s look at Vols opponent red zone td%:
Overall: 5th Best in sec
Now let’s split it further:
OOC: 3rd best in SEC
SEC: 9th best in sec

Depends, are we talking about weak OOC games skewing the basic stats?

It looks like you saying it’s dumb, illogical, unconventional, unreasonable to kick a FG on the final play before halftime.
Think about how dumb that is.

Now that this drive has been proven to be a good drive by any reasonable measure, maybe we can finally shut the book on the first half.
A dominating 24-6 wasn’t how you expected that to go, especially with so many self proclaimed positional advantages over uga.

This is why regardless of how dominant the team on offense is in that scenario, you take the points. It's not the same scenario as not being at the end of the half. Your argument here is pretty stupid. UGA was stopped by the clock. You don't kick a FG on 3rd down if clock isnt' an issue
He conveniently failed to acknowledge this part of your post.

Well, the clueless one finally quit his thread. I guess it’s hard to spin these stats as any other than explosive:
Uga First 8 drives vs vols:
51 plays
382 yards
7.5 yards per play

Typical, you missed the whole settling for a FG thing and hide behind meaningless stats.
Plenty of time for a play, supposedly dominating on O, playing a terrible defense, need 2 yards for a dagger that effectively ends the game, and Kirby settles for a FG attempt.
This isn’t hard, simply acknowledge that UGA was stopped and settled for a FG attempt because he didn’t have enough balls or faith in the O to push for the TD.
Nothing you have spun has (or can) change reality. This is why I stopped bothering. I led you to the answer, it’s up to you to grasp it.
Enjoy your circle jerk I guess.
PS, the FG was the safe play when you are not comfortable with your O getting 2 yards.
