South Carolina earned the top seed, shooting -16 over three rounds. The fourth ranked Lady Cocks will face Tennessee in the first round. The Lady Vols went +7 in stroke play.

The No. 4/No. 5 seed matchup will be a fun one to watch. Ole Miss went -1 in stroke play to earn the 4 seed. They will take on the defending SEC champion Mississippi State, who was just 2 strokes behind after shooting a course best -6 in the third round.

LSU went -10 to earn the No. 2 seed. They will take on the Florida Gators, who earned the No. 7 seed with a +6.

Texas went -5 to pickup the No. 3 seed. The dangerous Longhorns face Arkansas, who comes in at No. 6 with a +5 in stroke play.

Texas A&M, who won the SEC title over State two years ago and lost the SEC title to state last year, failed to make the final field.

Also of note, Georgia went +58 to finish dead last. 15th place Vanderbilt was 18 strokes ahead of Georgia. An SEC team shooting +58 is something. If you have daughters, put them on a golf course. Athens is a great town and a golf scholarship is in their future.

What's the story on Georgia falling so hard? I'm sure their women have been traditionally similar to the men.

College golf is such a crapshoot. I think the LSU women had three first team AA in the lineup and didn't make match play at nationals last season.
