I agree we could easily lose to Bama and LSU, but we could very well beat every else by double digits. Aside from our game in Oxford, I dont see anyone who conventional wisdom says shouldnt run out of the building

your schedule looks like that for sure.

if your defense is indeed terrible then maybe you slip up against someone you shouldn't but... I'm inclined to think A&M is a great pick to finish 10-2

All those save for Bama(who we never beat) are toss ups

Well that's the big Coach Cameron question. I have a feeling he is going to stay with the hurry up but featuring running (60%?) but won't know till gameday.

I'm guessing Vegas would disagree pretty near across the board

FWIW since 2000 Ole Miss is:

2-11 against Alabama
3-10 against Auburn
3-10 against LSU
5-8 against Arkansas
7-6 against MSU (one road win at MSU)
7-6 against Vanderbilt

Going by your logic (never beat Bama so you'll lose that one) I'd guess you definitely lose to Bama, LSU, Auburn... and have maybe coin flip games against Arkansas, MSU, and Vanderbilt

No I'm just pointing out that regardless of talent Bama always beats us. It's a mental block of sorts like MSU/LSU

Also the Vandy, LSU, and A&M will be close to pick ems close to game time.

like MSU/LSU

LSU could suck big time and still win...it's odd.

I think its just one of those things where MSU has lost so many games in a row to LSU they don't expect to win... and so they don't even when they maybe could

1999 was just such a terrible season. It wasn't as depressing as 1998 (given LSU's expectations were lower)... but jesus that was one of the biggest underachieving groups I've ever seen

He was down before he got in the end zone. If that hasn't have happened the streak would be at 20 or 21 I believe

Blame Mullen's play calling. You have to run Dixon four straight times

yeah, 21 I guess. Since 1992's SEC expansion MSU has beaten LSU once (in 1999)

That's the only time I've been to the SEC championship game. One of my friends got tickets from Saban as he was being recruited by LSU at the time.

LSU beats bama and a&m but loses to uga or uf
Bama loses to LSU but beats a&m
I see a&m not living up to the hype I say 3 SEC losses. Bama, LSU, and another loss
Ole Miss/MSU winner finishes with an 8 wins and loser with 6-7
Auburn/Arky battle it out for last
