With the exception of tonight's aTm game. SEC West opponents scored a combined 48 points this week. Ole Miss allowed 27 of that 48.

Someone add up the East's allowed points

...

Thanks aTm. Way to choke. Can we give them back to the big 12?

I am not wasting my time on the east. Maybe a Missouri fan will gladly do it.

Did you count the 7 GaSo scored? I know it goes against PPG, but technically AU's defense didn't give up any points. Just wondering if it's actually 41 points.

I would be willing to bet no SEC school has given up 43 points to an FCS school...Ever...Before Mizzou did.

Wrong. Subtract 7 from that 48. Auburn gave up zero. Ga So scored on a "scoop and score" after Stidham was blindsided.

Yes, I included it. Was that a defensive score? I didn't watch the game, my apologies.

Well everyone knew after seeing BYU's last game that they weren't scoring on anyone plus LSU is built to handle that type of game on D even if BYU had been better. And of course Bama is salty as ever. Not sure about the others.

It was a scoop and score after JS was blindsided. No reason to apologize, just wanted to know the actual # without having to look up the scores.

Auburn gave up the least amount of yards against a team since 1985.

You can be cautiously optimistic about us.

Wrong, sadly. We gave up 49 to Jacksonville State in 2010.

I was totally wrong about my handicapping assessment of the game. Yes, the +35 that I posted WON, but it shouldn't have. We missed 2 field goals. Our first team defense gave up 25 total yds! Ga So rolled up several hundred yards on Bama and beat Fla in the Swamp just a few short years ago.

We have played alot of teams worse than GSU since 1985 though.

Cautiously optimistic

Mizzou's defense is the best because we promoted our defensive coordinator to head coach after Pinkel resigned
