Any other week, other than Rivalry Week...I'm all for it...but I'm an old fan just over 50...and one thing I've learned after all these years watching college football...is throw out the records, stats, and tendencies and be prepared for the unexpected during Rivalry week. It goes 3 ways...the favored team blows the dog out, and the spread and over are near the odds, or the dog fights like heck and upsets the apple cart and either wins or kills the spread, & over/ under. Finally, when they are evenly matched or a < 3pt difference, then it is simply a pickem.

Now factor in playoff possibilities in 7 of the 10 games involving SEC teams this week...and you have chaos...no logic applies to college football this week

So until next year my friend...
