Arkansas' all-time win percentage = .592
That includes Nutt who is at .610
Hm.
Nutt made us a competitive SEC program,, no doubt that before him we were a joke in the league. No one really believes that Petrino won't do better though.
I mean the buffoons before him were a combined 18-29-2 (38.8%). It doesn't take much to better that. Nutt was 42-40 in conference play for us (51.2%) So far Petrino is 11-13 45.8%) but if he has just the worst predicted year next year (6-3 conference) his record will be 17-16 or 51.5% and that will be better than Nutt.
Also , it is very telling that Nutt's winning percentage was boosted by his first season (6-2) while Petrino's was hurt by his first year (2-6) meaning that one coach inherited a team that was ready for SEC play and the other didn't.
Petrino>Nutt PERIOD

Dude, you have no fricking clue what you are talking about.
LSU went 70-41-5 in the 80's, won multiple bowl games, and 2 SEC crowns.
LSU went 76-38-1 in the 70's, won multiple bowl games, and 1 SEC crown.
I would go further back to prove your ignorance even more, but it is time to leave the office.
ETA: 90's - 58-65 with a couple bowl wins and no SEC crowns

Will have to go 9-4 or better to be better than nutt after next season.
6-3 in conference next year and Petrno is .3% higher than Nutt was at Arkansas.
I haven't looked at the numbers for overall because the thread is titled SEC W/L. I will if you'd like.

You REALLY don't see Arkansas going at least 6-3 in conference play next season?
@ Bama - Loss
Aub - Win
@ Ole Miss - WIn
@ Vandy - Win
USC - Win
Tenner - Win
MSU - Win
@ LSU - Win
Find 3 losses in that schedule for Arky...

Bama, Auburn, state, LSU, UT, and USC are all potential losses if you take those fricking blinders off your eyes

youre predicting arky to win the west? How else would they get to play 9 conference games?

Yes I am, I just forgot to include SECCG at the end of the schedule.
Yes, expect us to lose to Bama but beat LSU who also lost to Bama who in turn lost to AUB as well as us. Meaning we are the SECW champions.
Posted on 2/15/11 at 5:28 pm to SugarHog
So you guys are going to win 7 consecutive SEC games?

You're a fricking idiot.
For any team in the country to think they are just going to stroll into Baton Rouge and win no questions asked is totally asinine. What's your record in Tiger Stadium again?

Who the frick said I expected to just roll on into Death Valley and stroll out with a win? In fact it is YOUR idiot fans who expect a blowout next season despite the fact that the last 6 games have been decided by a total of 23 points. It's not unreasonable to think that we can win there next season.

Of course you CAN win and no I don't expect a blowout, but if you had to bet your life on who would win that game next season, most would pick LSU.

Meh, idk. LSU hasn't exactly given me any reason to have confidence in them against arky.

Expecting a win =/= expecting it too be easy. I suspect you knew this. If you didn't I suggest you pretend you did anyway.

I have a feeling that most sane folk wouldn't bet their lives on a football game PERIOD.
