Ole Miss Alum Dexter McCluster made his name known his junior season in 2008 earning 2nd team all SEC honors and having 7 all purpose touchdowns. In the 73rd cotton bowl, he was named the games MVP. In his senior season in 2009, McCluster was the first SEC player with over 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards. He was voted first team SEC as well as winning his second cotton bowl MVP as ole miss defeated Oklahoma state. Dexter was drafted in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft by the Kansas City Chiefs were he has been ever since returning punts for td's. McCluster is a regular in Oxford, as he is still a huge rebel, and SEC fan in general.
In my opinion, Dexter was an outstanding player and person. He had 0 team infractions as well as being a natural born leader. He was a hard worker and always showed hard work and dedication. Kudos to the kid

Caught a punt at the 2 yard line today vs Denver and got crushed. Horrible decision.

324 all purpose yards with 4 TDs vs Tennessee that year is a game I will never forget.

Unfjortunately, in a Vandy game, he taught Wallace how to handle a ball on the way to the goalline.
