Quite. Personally, I think the reason officials call those penalties rather loosely isn't because they're corrupt or inept but because holding rules need to be revised and they know it. As the rules stand now, they give the defenses a ridiculous advantage over offenses because being able to pull, shift and outright ground o-linemen while th offense can only only shift and pray they won't be blitzed ignores how hard it is to stop someone (let alone multiple someones) from advancing without using your hands when he is free to do so. PI uses similar rules for offense and defense. There's no reason why holding at the LOS shouldn't be brought closer in line for both side. Be a little stricter on the O side, but not as much as the rules currently do.

These guys are actors who started doing skits called "it's A Southern thing" on youtube. The short guy must produce and have started the "SEC Shorts" and he appears in every one. The biggest news site in Alabama is AL.com and they started showing "SEC Shorts" a few years ago, and then Bama fans spread them to SEC boards, and even Fbaum is showing them now. FunnyMaine has even appeared in one.
