LSU is averaging scoring 11.3 pts more per game than their P5 opponents average

So if that holds true we would score 27 pts vs bama

Maybe you will, neither result would surprise me

I don't think anyone with some real football experience or football iq would be dumb enough to pretend Bama doesn't have a good offense. I for one give props where it's due. Your defense or special teams don't concern me for LSU it's soley your offense. With Hurts a tad hurt and knowing Tua has his injury I'm less worried but I know what that offense can do.
I think it's a damn good match up. If Aranda can find a scheme to off balance the Oline and force tighter earlier throws there is no doubt we can win.

For people to say y'all win by 20 or more they don't get just how good of a matchup this is for LSU. Bama has everything to lose and LSU has everyting to gain.

I also believe LSU has yet to have a star breakup on the team and this very well could be the game it does happen.

None the less I expect something unexpected to happen this game, idk what but we are all due for something big

Out of curiosity, where would they rank if you remove the Alabama game from their stats?

Amazing that we've beaten some of the teams in front of us. It's almost like offense doesn't guarantee a win

You sure are proud for beating a team that's nowhere near 100%. Desperate

Context is key though.

For example, Alabama is #1 and Georgia is #7 in passer rating. One would think that they are "close" in this regard.

That said, Alabama's pass eff rating is 226.29 while Georgia's is 168.16.
The differential between the two is 58.13.
So, for context, the same drop in rating doesn't get us to the 13th, 14th, or even 20th rated team.
It would fall between the 118th and 119th ranked teams.

So in other words, the difference between Alabama and Georgia is the same difference between Georgia and UNLV as far as passing efficiency goes.
