Schools in the top half of the SEC are pretty well regarded. The bottom half is fairly sketchy, however.

As someone who crossed over from Big Ten to SEC academically the only schools in this conference worth a shite is Vandy, UF, Texas and bits and pieces of UGA and Aggies. Everything is really mediocre. The bits and piece do tell a better picture but we know the SEC doesn’t play academics well overall. It’s ok no one really cares in the long run.
