Again...Arkansas baseball won the SEC championship in baseball last year...Means nothing as LSU won the national title.

I am a Braves fan as well.
Ask me what my thoughts are on this Braves season. Great regular seasons mean nothing in basketball and baseball if there is absolutely no delivering in the post season.

It's simply what programs and their fans place priorities on.
bigD can tell me the seasons, without googling, that Florida has made the Elite Eight, Final Four, and played for national titles in basketball.
It is very highly unlikely that he can spout off, without googling, the years that Florida has won any type of conference championship in basketball.

Arkansas sets our sights higher than conference championships. Arkansas looks ahead to deep runs in the NCAA Tournament. It’s an expectation. Something Alabama knows nothing about.

No, it really hasnt.
What has winning 4 of the last 5 gotten Alabama? Nothing, as Arkansas has gone farther in the NCAAt each of the last 3 seasons. Though, each program exited the NCAAt last season in the Sweet 16, though Arkansas lost to eventual national champion UConn, while Alabama lost to San Diego State.

I’m not saying it’s not a big deal. It’s a nice accomplishment. I’m just saying for Arkansas, our sights are set on deep NCAA tournament runs and winning another title.

Either way, give me March/April success over any trophy handed out from January to February.
UConn did not win their league last year. Can you tell me who won the Big East without googling? Uconn did not win their league in 2014. Can you tell me who won the AAC in 2014?

Or maybe because Alabama has only won 11 NCAAt games since 1995 that it matters way more to you than to a program who has won 11 tournament games in its last 5 NCAAt's?

since 2000, Arkansas has won 11 NCAA tournament games. In the same time frame, Alabama has won 10. Imagine how much happier you’d be during the season if Arkansas also had sprinkled in a conference title or two? I’m not pretending that conference titles are the be all end all. I’d give up every conference title we’ve won to make a final four. But I’m also not going to act like they’re meaningless or that last year wasn’t very enjoyable just because we choked in the tournament again.
