This is all a moot point until UGA, SC and FL all play each other. Hell...I'm nervous about this weekend.
I can talk shite with the best of them but still wouldn't be shocked if we drop two this year...or win out and go to ATL. And anyone excited about beating Vandy is a dumbass...although it was nice to see a complete game.
CMR has shown us time and again that we are fully capable of sleep walking into a buzz saw when we least expect it.

Major fail here road....either come strong or dont come at all...you are almost apologizing for putting us first. Tell me who the hell else has shown the sheer determination and guts that make us less than first in SEC East rankings? No one. And Jerry...man..Im disappointed...must be the years of beatdowns at the hands of Spurrier, Zook and Urban and now Boom....dont hate the players, hate the game.

Most fans, including myself, are just overjoyed that are team seems to be focused and playing at such a high level. Add to that we get the band back together on Defense; and there is a great sense of optimism around the program right now.
I am in the same boat as you when it comes to the nervousness regarding this weekends game, or for that matter, any weekend. I just hope these guys can continue to exceed the expectations that we have put on them.

You don't rank on determination and guts. We've beaten the shite out of everyone on our schedule. That's how you rank teams.

I suppose that depends on your perspective. If you look at games played objectively then UF should be #1 for now.

Really, that's just one example but UF obviously has played the tougher schedule to date and will have played the tougher schedule by the end of the year. Now how we finish with regard to wins and losses is an entirely different story. Obviously, UG has the easiest schedule in the SEC this year so it stands to reason that they should finish higher in power ratings at some point this year. We'll see soon enough.
For now though, we are #1 on this particular list.
