SEC Conference Unity?

We all agree the SEC is the best football conference. And when people are winning everybody's happy. No other conference has member schools chanting their name. People credit this to equal revenue sharing. Aggies are looking forward to the conference strength, stability, and winning culture.
That said, not everything's perfect. What pisses y'all off about the conference? Right now Slive has achieved rock star status in College Station, but what has he done (if anything) that's disappointed SEC fans?
I should probably just enjoy the honeymoon phase but I wanna know what all we're gettin' into here.

He is fricking with tradition with the coming schedule changes, and it pisses me off.

Letting aTm into the conference was extremely disappointing.
Not kicking out Arky is kind of pissing me off too.

Slive
Roy Kramer had a bigger impact on the SEC brand...
quote:
Kramer became the sixth commissioner of the Southeastern Conference on January 10, 1990. During his tenure at the helm of the SEC, the conference won 81 national championships, the most ever in a decade by the league. Kramer oversaw the distribution of a then-league record $95.7 million to its member institutions for 2001–02. Kramer negotiated multi-sport national television packages with CBS and ESPN, featuring football and men's and women's basketball, through the 2008–09 season. Within seven months of his appointment, the conference announced plans for expansion, adding Arkansas and South Carolina officially on July 1, 1991. Following expansion, Kramer guided the conference in formulating divisional play and the first Division I-A conference football championship game. Because of his influence, the Men's and Women's SEC Athlete of the year award is presented annually as the Roy F. Kramer Award. Kramer was succeeded as the SEC's commissioner by Michael Slive, who currently holds the position.

I really don't think you guys know you're getting into. Death Valley and The Swamp will be your new battlegrounds...

what will piss me off is if team 14 isn't added to the east and we lose a lot of traditional rivalries. especially if the iron bowl is moved up in the year. so
a&m and slive

Ags love a good battle though.
I'm wondering more about conference politics, any one school being favored, voting blocs, etc.

Google returns nothing useful. Must be a pretty good conspiracy.

Arkansas won 25 of those. You're welcome.

This phase lasts 20 years or more. In other words, you will be treated like the bride on the wedding night for a very long time.
