You do realize the ridiculous circumstances that would have to happen for you to be right don't you? There would have to be no SEC team in the top 4 in a year when both the Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl are being used as semi-final games. Even further, other access bowls without as stringent selection requirements would then have to pass on taking an SEC team at all.

It would be the equivalent of having no SEC teams in the BCS as it currently stands, which is contractually impossible, and will remain so, because we are an 'Access Conference'. We will not be denied access.

It's in San Antonio which is a great city to visit for two.

San Antonio is F'ing awesome.....IMO the most fun southern city outside of NOLA.

If San Antonio isn't given the championship game at some point in the future, assuming the venue can handle that game, it would be a damn shame.

The Champions Bowl has nothing to do with the SEC and B12 Champs playing each other, that's just a front. It's about A) A money grab. B)A hedge against the BCS and playoff system going a different way than the SEC wants. and C)A way for the SEC to stabilize the Big 12 while weakening the ACC because if the next set of realignment hits the SEC will want ACC teams. They already got what they wanted from the Big 12 and now the Big 12 is stable but also permanently weaker than the SEC by a good margin.

It was all a ploy to strengthen the SEC gaining an auto-bid in the future 8 team playoff. The Sugar and the Rose are now foils.

You realize how ridiculous it was to think LSU with 2 loses after the Arky game in 07 would be in the national title game was?

shite happens......I realize it isn't probable....hell it isn't even imaginable now to see a top 4 playoff without an SEC team (although we still aren't sure the top 4 get into the playoff).
