That's not a reason... I'm genuinely interested in why other locations should be considered. Atlanta has a huge airport, will have a brand new world class facility, and is centrally located within the sec footprint... it's also less of a shithole than Nola, STL, or Houston.
People can fly into other cities as well. If Major metropolitan cities in the footprint can host events like final fours, major bowls etc there is no reason they cant host the SEC Championship game as far as hotels infrastructure. We are not talking about "towns" we are talking about major American cities.

Keep the Dome open for Monster Truck rallies and Motocross events. Makes sense.
Thats an awesome way to admit you were wrong.

You aren't making a very good argument on any plusses to moving it. You are just trying to shoot down actual reasons to keep it in Atlanta.

What good is a sports stadium without a team to play in it?
Enjoy your conventions buddy. You're going to miss the Rams when they're gone.

Again, that's not a reason... just bc places have hosted large events in the past doesn't make them better options for the seccg.

This stuff just inst moving the needle man. You are a below average ranter. You should take your 70 posts in one year and go back into the shadows.

Thats hilarious. You talk about travel and hotel infrastructure then wave away the refutation.
That line about UGA/AU and Bama fans like things the way they are for their own reasons is more true that you are willing to admit.

Now let's start predicting who wins the first SEC title in the new stadium, I think it'll be one of 3........UA, AU, or UT.

So there are other places that are atlanta's equal when it comes to travel and hotel options?... and on top of that have a brand new world class dome stadium?
I think we both know the answer... and it's probably why you've avoided the topic for two pages now.

Well the plan was moving it to Nashville, it seemed safe enough, but now it looks like that may give Mizzou to much of an advantage.

Nobody gives a shite about being fair to Missouri. You can't just come into our conference and cry when we don't move the championship game to your backyard.

I havent avoided shite. You were not talking about a "new stadium" a couple years ago when this got brought up.You are not willing to admit why you honestly like the game in Atlanta. Laughing very hard at Auburn fans talking about "hotels" in Atlanta when its like an 1 1/2 half away.
The game needs to move around a little.

Well you all sure did a lot of crying when Mizzou started winning the East.

That has nothing to do with any of the other schools seriously listening to a Missouri proposal to move the game from where it's been held for 25 years

Its not just Missouri people man. Thats a hilarious cop out. There are plenty of folks in the conference that want the game rotated.
Like I said before, look at the affiliations of the most staunch supporters of not rotating the game. Its not a coincidence.

Hartsfield-Jackson airport in Atlanta is the busiest airport in the world and a hub for a number of airlines. From a travel standpoint, that makes it very easy to get to, and relatively inexpensive. I think it would be cool to move around, but logistically it makes sense. Dallas/Houston/Nola/Nashville are the other real options, but NoLa is the only one of those that isn't at the edge of the SEC, so travel will always suck for someone.

Dallas/Houston/Nola/Nashville
I'm not advocating St Louis be in the rotation, I'm just advocating that there needs to be one and that there are multiple options in many areas of the SEC footprint.. It could even be a situation like this:
Year 1: Atlanta
Year 2: "X"
Year 3: Atlanta
Year 4: "Y"
etc etc

Nola is the only other site that would remotely make sense and Sugar bowl said that is not going to happen. Nashville? no it is outside in December. Houston/Dallas is on the far edge of the region. We don't even need to address St louis.
The fact is there is absolutely no con's to holding it in Atlanta where every other site does. Just because you can have it in other sites does not mean it should. ACC would love to take over Atlanta for their game. They have tried finding a good location and have had to resort to holding it in Charlotte.

"the edge of the SEC" .. Nashville? really?
I think the oohga completely missed the subtle jab at Tenner in there, but oh well, its just an oogha.

Yeah, talk about tripping all over yourself.
Im just going to go ahead and simplify his post:
"There are no cons when you are literally under a couple hour drive from Atlanta."
Im so tired of hearing the ACC will take over Atlanta nonsense as well. What rubbish.
