Yea, it's all about timing and placement. I will say though. With his deep pases, at least he threw it where it couldn't be intercepted. Granted it couldn't be caught us either most of the time. He just needs to improve timing. Which Cam turned Brees, Rivers, and Flacco into NFL QB's, so I think he can do it.
