I know you want to get him work, but bringing in Sims down 8-2 in the 8th inning is not something I'd do. What's happening right now happens all the time with guys who are always brought into high-stress situations. When they come in just to "get work" in a game they're losing by a lot, they rarely seem to throw as well.
