Only difference between Bama and Texas is that Bama is fair with the money. I am sure that was Bear Deal too. We get fricked in everything else so I guess we are good whores

What exactly are they supposed to do?Try to form the Bama network? Break off from the league and become independent?
They need the conference just as much as the conference needs them.Texas and Alabama are completely different dynamics.

What a great day to be a Vandy fan. We got our share and didn't have to do a damned thing. That's the attitude that gets so many Vandy grads into upper management.

If you think Alabama needs the SEC the same as the SEC needs Bama then that little success Kirby brought you has gotten to your head.
Remove Alabama from the SEC and the value of the conference plummets.
If we did decide to go Independent or jump to another those TV contracts you love are getting renegotiated. The only schools who can fill that hole are Texas and Notre Dame and both would never share the wealth as we have.
We however wouldn't miss a beat.

You jump and we plug in Clemson or OU and not miss a beat.
Yea,and Im sure those TV sets in NY,Chicago,Atlanta and NO will all be tuned in to a Bama/Mercer game.
Yea,you guys MIGHT be able to get a home and home with ND and an occasional neutral sight game but that would be about it.
