Maybe the Iowa Alumni paper who first coined it should sue aTm.

Stats dont back that up but whatever.

Since the stadium opened they have the third best winning percentage at home in the NFL. They have also had terrible teams in that time frame. I'd say stats do back that up, but whatever

Iowa.
Yes, Iowa.
quote:
The first recorded use of the term "twelfth man" was in the November 1912 edition of The Iowa Alumnus, an alumni publication of the University of Iowa (then known as State University of Iowa) in which E.A. McGowan described the 1903 game between Iowa and the University of Illinois. In his article, titled "The Twelfth Player" McGowan wrote: "The eleven men had done their best; but the twelfth man on the team (the loyal spirited Iowa rooter) had won the game for old S.U.I." [1]

Truth
That copyright is lame.

That copyright is lame.

Lame is taking up a crusade for an Iowa newspaper clipping from 100 years ago just because you have a personal issue with A&M.

A team that's had terrible years in that time frame is 3rd in home winning percentage. I'd say that's quite an advantage.
I'm sure the patriots are first, does that mean Gillette stadium is the best home field advantage in football, or that the patriots were the best team in that time frame?
You're not really understanding how this works
