You made your point. Now move on.

You could mention how our low SOS doesn't seem to help us out, and we are a shitty team regardless of SOS.
As Torch alludes, Tennessee is a bit of an anomaly in a lot of ways.
I've never understood. Tennessee folks are some of the best you'll ever meet.
I think it starts with karma. Let me spell it out here:
Fat Phil shite
SOS shite
Team shite
Fans deserve better though.

LSU, in 2011, going into the BCS title game, was the #1 team in the country AND had the #1 SOS. So, you're wrong
No he is not wrong he just said if you’re a top five program in contention for NC then this usually doesn’t apply. The idea is that the top teams normally schedule a team that has a great name such as Notre Dame, Michigan or Miami but not necessarily a true top ten team like Ohio State, Oklahoma, Bama Georgia Clemson and Auburn. For a true top ten competing for Nc at the end of the season teams like SC, USC, Florida State are great resume builders. It also helps when usually the sec has two or three teams in the top ten at varying pints in the season. So Alabama Auburn or Georgia don’t need to open with an Ohio State who they will likely see in the playoffs anyway.

the bigger concern should be is when will Bama play a team with a pulse?

What about scheduling a home game with Syracuse?
Posted on 9/26/18 at 4:01 pm to Korin
#1 it was a home and home, not just a home game
#2 Syracuse has had good teams in the past, they could have gotten good
#3 LSU has a very good record of OOC scheduling & also somehow seems to draw the better teams in the East most years.

And Duke is playing a neutral site game because Alabama played there last time.
Duke has had good teams in the past too, certainly more recently than Syracuse (who hasn't had a winning season since 2013).

Syracuse all time winning percentage: .578
Duke all time winning percentage: .490
Syracuse is about to win their 700’th game, Duke has yet to win 500. Also you mentioned 2013? After that season was when LSU scheduled the game bc it looked like they were strong good again. Alabama scheduling Duke is pathetic and you know it.
You’re embarrassing yourself.

Oh, we're going by all-time stuff now? Interesting. Minnesota > LSU using your logic.
Syracuse went 7-6 in 2013 by the way. Real strong.

But more titles. Can't have it both ways.
And Alabama scheduled Duke when they were coming off of an 8-5 season. D'oh!

It wasn’t that long ago in the grand scheme of things that Syracuse was rolling out Donovan Mcnabb and Dwight Freeney. They are a much much much better program than Duke and could get legitimate good at any time. That we’re even having this conversation is a testament to how asnine some of you clowns are

As opposed to 1955 dragging out the gophers?

Alabama scheduled Duke after they went 8-5.
LSU schedules Syracuse after they went 7-6.

You criticized me for bringing up 2013 and then you went back to 98. Can't have it both ways.
