Your logic is flawed.
So Arkansas is turning away thousands of people every home baseball game?
Not to mention basketball arenas are bigger for a reason. There's this thing called supply and demand.
Sorry man. Baseball just isn't as popular. I know you wish it was, but you can't will things to be true.

I love college baseball too, but I'm not sure what you're arguing here. This is like saying Arkansas has better talent than Texas, when the shear numbers in the state of Texas prove otherwise.

why would I care what is more popular? I'm just judging by this board, the amount of baseball related posts far outnumber the amount of basketball threads (especially if you take out Kentucky fans who obviously care more about basketball than baseball).

Exactly. I like baseball more than basketball. But there's just no way you can argue baseball is bigger when every measurable stat proves otherwise.

This board is probably 60% LSU and Arky fans. The two biggest baseball fan bases in the SEC. No wonder. It's like an echo chamber in here. Baseball isn't nearly as popular as it's made out to be here.

The SEC dominates national attendance figures in two sports: football and baseball.
where's hoops?

I agree, but you're not getting it.
Basketball attendance is still higher in the SEC than baseball. Period. It just is. It's a fact.

And football attendance is higher than basketball
Football stadiums - 60k-100k seats
Basketball - 10k-20k
Baseball-2k-13k
You mean to tell me smaller stadiums mean smaller number of people attending.
:mind blown:

its gonna be a bitch having them in the SEC

Why are the stadiums smaller?
Think it has anything to do with demand?

Also, Arkansas should expand their baseball stadium by a few thousand, since thousands of people are beating down the doors to get into every single home game.
eta: Well, never mind. Maybe contract by a few thousand. Since y'alls average was 3,000 less than Baum's capacity. So that argument goes out the window.

I think so. And baseball has only been seen as a "money making" sport in the last 20 years. Football and basketball obviously go back a lot further. Of course, on the professional level baseball is the more popular one. How many 40-50,000 seat basketball arenas are there in the NBA?

Anyways. I'm getting off here.

Let me know when it happens. But in the mean time. Work on filling those 3,000 empty seats you have currently.

which is still 70% capacity, which is way more than Bud Walton.
thanks for proving my point.

Actually we are expanding it within the next few years.
It busts at the seams very often.

No. That proves your point for Arkansas, and Arkansas only.
Your reasoning skills are lacking.
