Anyone else looking forward to this series? I have long believed that ESPN and SEC Network should produce more content like this as well as re-air classic games from days long gone.
I'm truly excited to see some educational program about the history of our favorite sport!

I'll watch it but I'm confused by the dates (1869-1932).
1869 has nothing to do with the SEC that was the Rutgers v Princeton game.
The first college football game played in the South was UVA vs W&L 1873
The first college football game in the SEC footprint was Furman vs. Wofford 1889
The first college football game played by an SEC team was Vandy vs. Peabody 1890.
so, the dates should be 1890-1932.

I'm pretty sure it's going to explore the post-war South as well as how the game eventually made its way down here.
